How to Request Account Deletion

You can request the deletion of your Vaidhya Diagnostics account and all associated personal data by following either of these steps:

1. Email us directly: Send an email to Vaidhyadiagnostics@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the phone number registered with your account.
2. Call us: Contact us at +91 8989 69 0707 and request account deletion. Please have your registered phone number ready.

We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation once deletion is complete.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon a confirmed deletion request, the following data associated with your account will be permanently deleted:

• Your profile information (name, phone number, email, date of birth, gender, address)
• Your test booking history and appointment records
• Your login credentials and session data
• Any preferences or settings saved in the app

What Data May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained after account deletion as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

• Medical records and diagnostic reports — retained for a minimum of 3 years as required under applicable Indian medical regulations. These records are anonymised where possible.
• Financial transaction records — payment receipts and transaction IDs are retained for 7 years as required under Indian tax and accounting law.
• Anonymised usage data — aggregate, non-identifiable analytics data that cannot be linked back to you.
